Whether you're an aficionado of blues, a rock enthusiast, or just someone looking to unwind with great company, Bourbon Bandstand has something for everyone. With multiple seating options, including intimate indoor spots, spacious outdoor areas, and enchanting balcony views, you can choose your own adventure for the evening.
According to guests, the experience is enhanced with bartenders like Shauna, affectionately known as "Gypsy," who has earned accolades for her friendly demeanor and swift service. One customer remarked, “Had a great time Christmas night; the band was rocking!” It’s not just the music that makes this bar a must-visit; it’s the vibrant community feel, as you’ll often find patrons of all ages dancing and enjoying the live performances that ring out into the night.
The house band, Willie Lockette & The Blues Krewe, has earned rave reviews for their soulful, electrifying performances. Loved the atmosphere!” The variety of sounds, from R&B to soul, contributes to a rich auditory experience that captivates both seasoned concert-goers and casual viewers alike.
However, it’s worth noting that not every experience is perfect. Super cool place we ended up spending a decent amount of time here. They have outside and inside seating at well as upstairs and balcony seating. For sure would go back to this place if ever back in New Orleans and recommend you stop by yourself if around. Drinks and service also was great and alot of dancing going on.

We were drawn here by the music and Willie Lockette & the Blues Krewe didn't disappoint. Loved the atmosphere and we were taken by the wide age range amongst the customers. This is a 'must go to' bar for anyone loving the blues scene in New Orleans.

The ambience is good, the r&b and soul band was really great. The only down side is the shot server, she was very aggressive! She cornered my friend on the stairs and made him drink a shot pushing it to his mouth! Unacceptable behavior. And we saw another server doing a similar move to another customer. The venue manager should take action on this.
